72 Chevrolet Impala 350 2 BBl All Original ..  Now if you did not want the base 6 cylinder and a little more Ooomph well not much more but better than the friggin 6 banger.. You got the base 350 2 Barrel motor 165 net horsepower version. I must say she does have a little kick off the line but that is about it. Not to mention this thing weighs oh I dunno A Lot . The first thing I did was replace the points with a Pertronix module. I did not want to mess around with points. And well I sorta kinda lost my touch for adjusting them from when I was a teenager with my 1967 Camaro.

Yes the alternator and EVERYthing is just as she came right off the assembly line. Now it was a Pennsylvania car so some things on this car I never saw before. We will get to that later as time goes on. To tell the truth is has some funky green primer or paint I cannot really tell in the engine bay and parts of the front frame when you take the front tires off. Again when my cousin had his 70 to 76 Impalas when I was a kid. I never saw those markings, and he even worked for a Chevy Dealer at that time. He would take me to see all the new cars in Jersey. Where I am from and never saw such paint/primer markings .

The A/C sorta kinda works but the one upper line freezes up. We gotta work on that being that I am in Florida at the moment. Now I do not know how it was done but. The valve cover around the oil cap is bent maybe the cap was stuck at one time ? Who knows but nothing is leaking so I am not going to mess with it right now. She idles a lil rough so some fresh plugs and wires are on the way..

Months later and I am still in shock that I have this car..
