The Pontiac Firebird 400 the lighter sister to the Trans Am. It’s basically the same car just fewer bells and whistles and a tad lighter. In fact in the 70s T.V. show the Rockford Files they appeared to be The Firebird Esprit. In the first year, it was, but in later years they were actually Formulas made to look like Esprits. And who can forget the ’70 to ’75 Dual Snorkel Hood just pure perfection?
